For the end of 2024, I had the privilege of working on the North Carolina Ports holiday video. The team and I worked closely to script out a brief story that captured the tone of the holidays, centered around the magic of NC Ports. The overall video direction went through a lot of evolution over the course of its development, eventually coming together into the minute long holiday animation below!
My responsibilities with this project were many - I co-directed, illustrated, animated and did sound design for the video from beginning to end. I worked with the very skilled copywriter Al Thompson to help write out the story. We started in a very different place, but as we learned more about the client and their audience, our story evolved into a stronger statement that better answered the client's need.
